By 2030 we aim to have electrified thousands of boats in Africa.
Our goal is to connect fishermen on Lake Victoria with electric outboard engines powered by clean energy through a full-service B2B rental model. Through this approach, ASOBO will improve fishers’ income levels as well as the livelihoods of people depending on the lake, and help reduce the burden on the environment through lower CO2 emissions and oil spillages.
